Dr. Yvonne C. Rosado

Dr. Yvonne C. Rosado was born and raised in Canóvanas, Puerto Rico. Dr. Rosado fell in love with Columbus during her years as a student at The Ohio State University, where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery after receiving her Bachelor of Biology from the University of Puerto Rico. She then completed a year of the General Practice Residency Program at The Ohio State University.

Dr. Rosado was initially drawn to dentistry upon witnessing the care one must take when working with patients. As a detail-oriented person, she’s always loved working with her hands, and the nature of this profession allows her to thrive. However, she fell in love with dentistry seeing the joy she gave her patients in creating beautiful smiles. This is why she firmly believes in honest, conservative work that is always in the best interest of her patients.

Dr. Rosado’s favorite part of dentistry is traveling to different parts of the world and providing dental treatment to poor and underprivileged people. It is an honor for her to have traveled with the organization Hand of Hope to South America and as far as Nepal. It is a passion of hers to see people in these communities also receive the care they need to live fuller lives.

She has also been involved with Proyecto Mariposas, a non-profit organization that provides an environment of learning, sharing, and support to Latina girls and their mothers.

Though the city has changed since Dr. Rosado was a student, she continues to love Columbus and the cultural diversity the city offers in all aspects of life. Outside the office, Dr. Rosado enjoys long walks with her dogs, Anna and Elsa, working out, cooking for friends and family. She also delights in traveling abroad with her husband Fidel.
